So, last Saturday at 4am (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is on reruns, boooo >|), I managed to catch the documentary I've been wanting to see for over a year: Sharkwater, on the Planet Green channel.
I watched pretty much the whole thing, and it was better than I'd expected.

The documentary's about sharks - duh - but not in a Shark Week kinda way.

Okay, American Idol time again.
This is posted a couple days late because I haven't had much LJ posting time in the last few nights.

This week was movie song week, and...it wasn't exactly what I expected. o.O

So last Saturday was mostly a dull Saturday. But it was kind of a day where I reflected on animal/environmental issues for most of it.
When I got up that day, I came downstairs, and mom was already up. And what's on the TV?
The Kentucky Derby pre-show on ESPN.

It can be. I don't much like the practice of keeping birds as "pets," since a lot of people who get them don't have a clue as to how they should care for them, and had little idea of what they were getting into. Some end up being put into corners, separate rooms, or just mostly ignored altogether. A lot of the birds sold as pets have very long ( Read more... )
